This is not a direct translation I'm posting here, but a slightly clearer version of what I've translated. Class asks for the most exact translation possible, but it's not always the nicest to read. It just pops in to the story, as this is the 3rd branch of the Mabinogi. I don't know if people would like me to do this sort of thing more often, or if you want me to put the Welsh up as well, so you can compare. Let me know!

Halfway through Welsh translations for next week (have to translate lines 1-30 of Manawydan uab Llyr). So, here, have lines 1-15!

This isn't going to be a long post, because I have to finish up homework, and honestly, I don't think too many people who read this would be thrilled if I just posted my homework.

(Though I just want to post this one line from Branwen Uerch Lyr.

'Mi a welaf longeu racco,' heb y brenhin, 'ac yn dyuot yn hy parth a'r tir.
'I see ships yonder,' said the king, 'and they come boldly towards the land.

ok, I'm done.)

Tutorial this afternoon was alright. Books are still not in, and I'm starting to get annoyed and anxious, because I have homework to do that already requires these books. Like reading for History of Medieval Wales. I'm supposed to read two chapters in the text book for tomorrow, but I don't have the book yet. It's actually pissing me off some. I would like to get my work done, dammit.

It's my off-week, so everything gets kind of magnified, and I find I'm annoyed at a lot more things. It's not overly pleasant, and it's really tiring.

Tuesday had its own whole thing, because I messed up classrooms and missed half of a class. Tomorrow I have three classes, but at least I'll have some time at the borrel. That should be nice.

Mark said we'd have a date night this week, but I'm doubting that it will happen. He's still sick, and it just seems unlikely to happen.

I'm tired.
